Animation...hmm

Having changed my mind about what my animation was going to be, i decided to model and animate a game i used to play called crossbows and catapults. It basicly involves 2 players who set up their castles and make a fortress out of plastic bricks to protect their flags. They would then fire tokens with their weapons and see how much damage they could cause to the opponents castle.

I thought this would work well in an animation, and would give me a chance to use different animation techniques. The modelling is fairly simple which is good as then i can spend more time on actually animating. Reactor looks like a great way to simulate the collisions of the tokens on bricks and shal look into it.

Visualization almost complete

My visualization of my laser board game is almost comnplete moddelling wise. I now have to focus on the lighting and materials. As ive never done this before, ill have to learn as i work especially with using mental ray. I looked into using Vray for rendering, but think its not needed for this at this time.

Hopefully once the lighting and materials are layered on it might start to look ok.....
